Since the birth of her daughter, True, 5 months ago, Khloe Kardashian has been on the defense. She has publically criticized many people who have taken aim at her baby. In one instance, she responded to claims by Twitter users that her daughter is simply not cute!
However, things really reached their peak for this new mom when people started slating her infant's skin tone! It all started when Kim shared an adorable picture of the three newest members of the Kardashian-Jenner crew.
True is featured prominently center stage between her cousins - Stormi Jenner and Chicago West. All three babies are biracial, but it's clear that True is the darkest. Comments immediately starting rolling in. From such intellectual remarks as ss_.05's "ewwwwwww I'm not feeling true" to the much more blatantly racist comment from deweesey23, "I hate that True is so dark"
The comments prompted Khloe to disable commenting on her most recent picture of her and True.
Positive messages flooded in as a response to the hate. Fan @officialsamira1 responded by saying, "Y'all have nothing to do but bully a baby. Are you serious? She is just a baby come on. Don't you know what being a biracial mean? Look it up if you don't and leave the baby alone. STOP BULLYING HER. All these girls are beautiful."
Others, like @cassbabs, expressed their shock, "Can't believe some of these comments. Scary to live in such a hateful world."
To acknowledge all the love and support, Khloe tweeted out, "To the real ones, I LOVE YOU!!!!!" and responded to some messages of support from fans.
At 5 months old, True Thompson may be one of the youngest people to experience this kind of hate. Should celebrity moms be more careful with their posts? Or, should people just shut up? Share your thoughts with us!
